Job summary

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in Independence, MO is actively hiring a PRN Admissions and Intake Registered Nurse (RN). The role supports timely behavioral health assessments and admissions decisions, with opportunities to assist on units and lead groups as needed.

The RN will conduct comprehensive assessments, determine appropriate levels of care, perform crisis intervention and risk assessments, and coordinate information with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for the state of Missouri or Compact.
• Experience in behavioral health, assessments, crisis intervention, and admissions preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to work 12 hour shifts.
• PRNs with availability for evening, overnight, and weekend coverage
