Job summary

Requires a Bachelor's in Athletic Training, BLS for Healthcare Providers, NATA-BOC, current Ohio licensure, excellent communication and computer skills, and 3–4 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR) required.
• NATA-BOC certification and current Ohio license required.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer application skills and 3–4 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Works with lead athletic trainer, physicians, therapists and staff to transition/implement rehabilitation.
• Educates staff, coaches, athletes, patients on care and prevention of athletic injuries; may conduct community education.
• Provides one-on-one guidance, develops individualized fitness/rehabilitation programs and documents progress.
• Assists in developing training programs and uses equipment and protective devices as needed.
