Job summary

21st Century Rehab, PC is seeking a certified Athletic Trainer to provide on-site athletic training services for local high schools in Iowa. You will evaluate and manage injuries, provide emergency care as needed, and maintain precise records.

You will collaborate with coaches, parents and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive athlete care, while educating student-athletes on injury prevention and staying compliant with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Fully certified athletic trainer with state licensure eligibility.
• Strong communication with coaches, parents and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and certified Athletic Trainer to join our team and provide top-tier sports coverage and care to our local communities.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Provide on-site athletic training services during some practices and games
• Evaluate and manage athletic injuries, including emergency care as needed
• Maintain accurate records of injuries, and treatment
• Collaborate with coaches, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for athletes
• Educate student-athletes on injury prevention
• Ensure compliance with school policies and state athletic regulations

Qualifications:

• BS or Masters degree from a CAATE accredited college or university
• BOC Certification
• Iowa Licensure or eligible for Iowa Licensure
• CPR Certification
• Mandatory Reporter Certified
• Preferred High School level experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekend
