Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and ambulation support.
• Serve meals and assist residents with eating as needed.
• Monitor residents’ condition and report any changes to nursing staff or supervisors.
• Assist with medication reminders (as permitted by state regulations and facility policy).
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and well-being at all times.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and social engagement.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
