Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage seeks a PRN anesthesiologist to join a 14-physician team, delivering anesthesia for a broad surgical scope with emphasis on regional techniques. The role collaborates closely with CRNAs in a 182-bed Level II Trauma Center serving Alaska Native and American Indian communities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved residency in Anesthesia.
• BE/BC in Anesthesiology.
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical anesthesia including regional anesthesia for a wide range of specialties, excluding cardiac, transplant and complex neuro/spine cases.
• Collaborate with the CRNA team to ensure patient safety and effective anesthesia care.
