Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Non-Certified Anesthesia Tech PRN to support the anesthesia team at Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital in Arlington, TX. The role involves assisting with room setup, equipment preparation, and maintaining sterile environments during surgical procedures.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, BCLS and ACLS (90 days) with CLIA compliance considerations. Prior related experience or training is preferred, and duties include daily computer support and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CLIA regulations/compliance for foreign education equivalency required.
• Relevant experience or training program preferred.
• BCLS certification required and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to anesthesia providers during routine and urgent cases to ensure quality patient care.
• Assist anesthesia staff with room and equipment preparation for patient care.
• Protect patient and staff safety by following department processes and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Maintain supply, equipment and pharmacy inventory to support anesthesia services and keep equipment/workroom clean and functional.
• Perform daily computer support and troubleshooting; assist Anesthesiologist in Optime as needed.
