Job summary

Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IN is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support safe, efficient patient care in the Ambulatory Department.

This position works closely with nurses and other members of the healthcare team to prepare patient care areas, assist with patient flow and transportation, maintain a clean and organized environment, and provide patient care support within the scope of training and assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications

• PRN position.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous PCT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient care areas and assist with patient flow and transportation.
• Maintain a clean and organized ambulatory environment.
• Provide patient care support within the scope of training and assigned responsibilities.
• Assist with documentation, supplies, equipment and other departmental needs to ensure smooth daily operations.
