Job summary
Galen College of Nursing is seeking an Adjunct Nursing faculty member to facilitate learning, assess student progress, and contribute to curriculum development across classroom, lab, and clinical settings. The role supports student growth toward competent nursing practice and aligns with state and federal regulatory standards.
The position may require evening or weekend hours, with opportunities to advance professionally within a supportive, caring team.
Qualifications
- Active, current RN license in the applicable state.
- MSN degree required; BSN considered depending on campus needs.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate learning and learner development.
- Apply diverse teaching strategies to meet learner needs and outcomes.
- Help students develop as nurses and embody professional values.
- Assess and evaluate student learning across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
- Analyze assessment data to inform continuous course improvement.
- Implement program assessments and PSLOs to guide curriculum and progression.
- Engage in professional development to enhance faculty effectiveness.
- Maintain up-to-date professional practice knowledge for clinical instruction.
- Align with the college mission and nursing accreditation requirements.
- Fulfill other responsibilities per state board requirements.
