Our Pulmonary Critical Care teamhas asupplemental opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join their growingteam in Indianapolis, IN.

Opportunity Details

  • PRN for coverage as needed, based upon availability
  • Nightshift (12-hour shifts)
  • No Call
  • 100% inpatient
  • Coverage atIU Health North, West, and Methodist Hospitals
  • Team includes 30 physicians and 30 APPs
  • Patient population includes critically ill medical and surgical patients

Key responsibilities

  • Cross cover for ICU, New admissions & respond to Code Blue and RRT calls.
  • Procedures include intubations, central and arterial line insertion, and chest tube insertions.

Qualifications

  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification required
  • Previous ICU experienced required
  • CCRN certification required
  • 3-5 years of clinical experienced required
