Job summary

Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo seeks an Environmental Service Technician (EVS) to maintain cleanliness and infection control across the facility. This PRN, first-shift role focuses on patient rooms, public areas, and surgical spaces, with rotating weekends/holidays and a drug-free environment.

The position requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and exceptional service to patients and staff. Experience is a plus but not required; training is provided and safety guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to follow safety and cleanliness guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay focused on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, public areas, surgical areas, and other spaces as assigned.
• Stock supplies and keep equipment clean and in working order.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines to ensure the hospital is always clean and safe.
• Provide excellent service to hospital staff and patients.
• Work closely with Environmental Services Manager to complete tasks to high standards.
• Follow detailed instructions and regularly check your work to meet quality standards.
