Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a High Net Worth Tax Principal to lead the private wealth practice for wealthy individuals and family offices. You will oversee complex tax planning, retirement and estate strategies, and manage multiple engagements with senior client service.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with firm leadership, and contribute to growth initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of service quality and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or law required.
• CPA or JD required.
• 10+ years in tax planning and consulting for wealthy individuals, family offices and private entities.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and family offices.
• Perform technical review of complex tax returns (individual, partnership, trust, estate, gift).
• Lead multiple engagements delivering proactive tax planning and strategy.
• Advise on business succession planning and charitable planning.
• Stay updated on tax trends and authorities and apply them to complex situations.
• Manage staffing, billing and profitability targets for engagements.
• Develop client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
• Support staff development through mentoring and firm learning programs.
