Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a High Net Worth Tax Managing Director to lead its private wealth practice in the United States. You will mentor staff, oversee complex tax engagements and collaborate with firm leadership to deliver strategic income, gift, estate and international tax services.

You will work with executives, family offices and private businesses, guiding wealth preservation and succession planning while expanding client relationships and revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or law.
• CPA or JD.
• 8+ years of tax planning and consulting for wealthy individuals, families and trusts, investment entities and private businesses.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience mentoring and counseling associates.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, families and their private businesses.
• Manage multiple engagements delivering proactive tax planning and consulting including federal, estate, gift and generation-skipping tax.
• Advise on business succession planning and supervise engagement teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to growth initiatives.
