Qualifications

• Strong academic credentials and excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of estate planning documents, including wills and trusts for domestic and international clients.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda on tax, probate, trust administration, and other private wealth issues.
• Support the team with the administration of estates and trusts, including probate filings and asset transfers.
• Participate in client meetings and assist with the development of tailored wealth preservation strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax returns.
• Stay updated on relevant tax laws, estate planning strategies, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with the broader Private Wealth Services team to deliver high-quality legal services to clients.

The Private Wealth Services Group focuses on complex estate planning, wealth preservation, and tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and closely-held businesses. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or a junior attorney with up to four years of experience to join a dynamic, collaborative practice group. The Fort Lauderdale PWS group is dedicated to training associates and advancing their professional development. This is a full-time onsite position in the Fort Lauderdale Office.
