Responsibilities include drafting wills and trusts, tax returns, and research, while supporting estate and trust administration. Florida Bar admission is required or pursued promptly; a JD or JD/LL.M. from an ABA-accredited law school is preferred.

Qualifications

  • JD or JD/LL.M. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • 0–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in estate planning or tax.
  • Florida Bar admission or willingness to become licensed in Florida promptly.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on tax, probate, and trust administration issues.
  • Support estate and trust administration, including probate filings and asset transfers.

  • Prepare gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax returns.
  • Stay updated on tax laws, estate planning strategies, and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with the Private Wealth Services team to deliver high-quality legal services.
