Job summary

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management in Washington, DC seeks a Business Development Associate to support PWAs, analyze client portfolios, and help grow the book of business. You will assist in portfolio reviews, client communications, and outreach activities to expand relationships with ultra-high net worth clients and select institutions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in financial services, strong communication, and an interest in advancing to Private Wealth Advisor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related financial services experience.
• Interest in pursuing a career as a Private Wealth Advisor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure.
• Strong interest in financial markets and investment sense.
• Ability to multi-task across firm partnerships.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with team orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Licenses: SIE, Series 3, 7, 63 to be obtained within 3 months; CFA/CFP encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Work with PWAs to support existing client relationships and drive new business.
• Analyze client portfolios and monitor asset allocation and risk/return.
• Monitor macro trends and research publications for portfolio impact.
• Act as growth engine across wallet share and new business.
• Develop outreach materials and client events; coordinate follow‑up.
