Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking a Private Wealth Associate with 4–8 years of experience to join its established trusts and estates practice. This position is open across multiple U.S. offices, with a preference for candidates located in Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis, as well as remote flexibility.
The ideal candidate will have experience advising high‑net‑worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and other wealth transfer structures. This role also involves handling trust and estate administration, advising on estate, gift, and generation‑skipping transfer tax matters, and supporting charitable and philanthropic planning strategies. Attorneys in this group work collaboratively across offices on complex private wealth matters.
Candidates should have prior law firm experience and strong academic credentials, along with excellent drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage multiple matters, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues is essential. An active bar license in the relevant jurisdiction is required.
