Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Private Wealth Associate with four to eight years of experience to join our national firm. We will consider candidates for any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link, with Milwaukee strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will bring expertise in sophisticated estate planning, drafting, trust and estate administration, estate and gift tax, and charitable planning.

Qualifications

• Experience in sophisticated estate planning and drafting.
• Experience with trust and estate administration.
• Experience with estate and gift tax and charitable planning.
• Active bar license in the applicable state or ability to obtain soon.
• Prior law firm experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide private wealth planning support across multiple offices.
• Draft estate planning documents and advise clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys across our Financial Services & Capital Markets group.
• Contribute to client service and compliance across matters.

Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve.

We have an immediate opening for a Private Wealth Associate with four to eight years of experience preferred . We will consider candidates for any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link, however, candidates in Dallas, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis are strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sophisticated estate planning and drafting, trust and estate administration, estate and gift tax, and charitable planning. Prior law firm experience is required. The successful candidate will work with attorneys across our various offices in our Financial Services & Capital Markets strategic industry group.

The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $230,000 - $275,000, and in Minnesota and Vermont is $215,000 - $275,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data. Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
