Job Title: Family Office Advisor/Wealth Planner– Ultra-High-Net-Worth Clients

Overview:

A prestigious multi-family office is looking to hire a Family Office Advisor/Wealth Planner to join its expanding advisory platform. These roles are newly created due to a strong client demand and offer the opportunity to work directly with ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and families. The firm delivers a truly holistic, white-glove wealth management experience, integrating investment management with in-depth planning services.

You will work as a senior planning specialist and trusted advisor alongside client-facing Private Advisors, leveraging extensive internal resources (tax, insurance, estate, CFO services, etc.) to deliver best-in-class financial advice and quarterly planning deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with relationship leads to deliver strategic financial advice across tax, estate, insurance, philanthropy, and retirement planning.
  • Develop and maintain bespoke financial plans tailored to each family’s needs, managing approximately 15 long-term client relationships.
  • Coordinate cross-functional input from internal subject-matter experts (SMEs), analysts, and associates to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Act as the lead in meetings with clients and their external advisors, managing ongoing advisory relationships.
  • Drive intergenerational planning strategies and identify value-added services across the firm’s family office platform.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience in wealth, tax, or estate planning, with a proven track record advising HNW/UHNW clients.
  • JD, LLM, CPA, or CFP highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—must be confident presenting to sophisticated clients.
  • Broad familiarity with all aspects of family wealth planning (e.g., estate planning, complex tax, insurance).
  • Experience managing a book of 15–25 planning relationships with complex needs.
  • Backgrounds in top-tier family offices or similar firms, are highly valued.
