The Opportunity
We are a growing multi-family office seeking an experienced and highly motivated Private Wealth Advisor who will serve as the primary financial planning and relationship lead for assigned households. This role delivers proactive, comprehensive wealth planning; partners with internal specialists; and ensures a high-touch, consistent client experience throughout the client lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship management capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and an understanding of holistic financial planning development. They will play a critical role in supporting our clients through their wealth management journey by being the primary point of contact for all conversations, analyzing all components of the client’s financial picture, and partnering with internal and external teams to provide unique, suitable, and sophisticated solutions based on client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Relationship Management
- Conduct welcome calls and all ongoing financial planning meetings, involving Investment Policy Committee (IPC), Tax Advisor, and other team members when appropriate.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client questions and planning needs.
- Maintain accurate and complete client profiles in Salesforce, Orion, and our planning software.
- Onboard up to three households per week, with an expectation of managing 120+ households at full capacity.
- Prepare to receive pre-existing client household relationships transitioned from other Private Wealth Advisor books to re-distribute the total firm wide client household book evenly.
- Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive and holistic financial plans.
- Provide ongoing, proactive planning recommendations aligned with client goals.
- Coordinate planning efforts with internal Tax, Estate, and Investment partners.
- Identify clients who may be appropriate for unique or opportunistic investment solutions, in collaboration with IPC.
Investment & Account Coordination
- Partner with IPC to build and implement customized investment recommendations. For less-tailored portfolios, build recommendations without involving IPC.
- Meet with IPC & Tax at least yearly to review suitability and accuracy of client portfolios.
- Review client billing in partnership with IPC and/or Compliance, as appropriate.
Client Engagement & Operations
- Prepare for and lead client meetings, including necessary research and collaboration with other teams, as well as meeting follow-up.
- Conduct proactive client outreach beyond scheduled meetings.
- Schedule and manage client meeting cadence, leveraging technology where possible.
- Request and coordinate client swag and appreciation initiatives.
- Manage client meeting logistics, documentation, and action items.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Wealth Advisor or Financial Planner in a wealth management, RIA, or family office setting, during which time you owned the relationship for at least 80 households.
- Strong technical foundation in financial planning, investments, and tax-aware strategies.
- Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with tailored investment instruments such as direct indexing, private credit, Opportunity Zone investments, alternatives, bond laddering, etc.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset with comfort working alongside investment, tax, and operations teams.
- Series 65 required (*NOTE - if you have your Series 66 or CFP, please select "YES" to the Series 65 screening question).

Additional Compensation Note
Revenue sharing of the managed client book will eventually be part of the compensation package
