Menchey Music Service's Menchey School of Music in Hanover is seeking a passionate vocal instructor to join our private lesson program. You will teach engaging, personalized voice lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels in a supportive studio environment.

The role emphasizes building relationships, preparing students for recitals, and contributing to a music-centered community with on-site scheduling, administrative support, and recital opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of college-level music training, 5 years teaching or professional performance, or an equivalent combination.
• Bachelor's degree in music education, performance, or related field preferred; candidates currently working toward a degree are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with learners of all ages and skill levels is preferred.
• Ability to complete an initial and ongoing background check as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach private voice lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Create a positive, encouraging, and educational lesson environment.
• Help students grow musically, prepare for recitals, and participate in performance opportunities.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff.
• Keep accurate attendance and lesson records using our digital scheduling system.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm every day.
