Job summary

Fifth Third Bank’s Private Bank Center seeks a Trust Officer II to manage a portfolio of complex Personal Trust, agency, IRA, and custody accounts, with book revenue over $1.5 million. You’ll execute estate plans and discretionary actions, often across multiple beneficiaries.

You will collaborate with client service teams to deliver exceptional service, ensure compliance with policies, and help grow relationships while balancing fiduciary risk and tax considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or related experience required.
• 8+ years experience in financial services, including at least 3 years of trust (fiduciary) or IRA experience.
• Effective client relationship skills and experience.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills in trust administration and estate planning matters.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fiduciary law and estate planning or IRA regulations.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Uses effective problem solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment to deliver client service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates fiduciary services for a portfolio of Personal Trust accounts.
• Reviews discretionary action requests for irrevocable trusts and approves/declines per documents.
• Administers multigenerational trusts while managing financial and compliance risks.
• Executes estate plan terms as Trustee/Executor with discretion among beneficiaries.
• Maintains client relationships with the service team to deliver high-level service.
