Peninsula Community Center, part of Peninsula Covenant Church, seeks a Private Swim Instructor to lead engaging lessons and reinforce water safety for swimmers of all ages. You will collaborate with the aquatics team to ensure a welcoming, safe pool environment and provide progress updates to families.
Qualifications include American Red Cross Lifeguard certification and being 15 years or older, with prior coaching or instruction experience preferred. Evening/weekend availability is valued.

PCC is located in Redwood City, dedicated to serving the community and making a positive impact through outreach programs including the Community Center. PCC employs over 150 seasonal and part-time staff to support various community efforts. The Private Swim Instructor is part of a collaborative and supportive aquatics team, working closely with the Aquatics Program Manager, Aquatics Coordinator, and fellow instructors. Instructors build positive relationships with swimmers, families, and PCC members while creating a fun, welcoming environment where every swimmer can succeed.
This position works closely with the Aquatics Program Manager, Aquatics Coordinator, and other swim instructors, and directly engages with students and their families to ensure effective and enjoyable swim instruction. Collaboration with other Community Center teams is essential to maintaining an excellent aquatics facility and program.
