Hamptons Swim is a luxury swim school located in the Hamptons, and NYC. Our team is trained to meet the unique needs of each swimmer regardless of age, ability, and learning preference. From the basics, to overcoming fears, to perfecting strokes, Hamptons Swim makes swimming safe and enjoyable for all.

We service clients throughout the Hamptons. We service clients throughout the East End from Riverhead to Montauk, including Shelter Island, and are looking to add someone to our team who can service Shelter Island. The positions available are part-time contract swim instructors. We are flexible with hours and days of availability. Given this is a contract position and we cater to the needs and schedules of our clients, we cannot guarantee a set amount of weekly hours.

We are looking to hire an experienced, dedicated, and fun swim instructor who is committed to helping grow our swim community and create an impact summer after summer! As an instructor, you will represent our company while maintaining exceptional client relationships. • Starting rate is $80 per hour (higher for certified classroom teachers)
• Teaching 30 min to 2 hour lessons
• Be familiar with and prepare lesson material for all ages and skill levels
• Provide a safe and fun learning environment
• Learn how to use our scheduling system proficiently
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients
• Communicate with the operations team about any scheduling issues
• Participate in pre-season training sessions
• Training will be compensated

Requirements are:

• Live in or near the Hamptons
• 2+ years experience as a swim instructor
• Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certified
• Red Cross First Aid/CPR certified (CPR required, first aid preferred)
• Access to transportation to and from lessons
• Able to respond to emails and texts in a timely manner
• Dependable, respectful, punctual, easy-going personality, patient, nurturing, caring, and good with kids
