Job summary

Caring for Others is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, one-on-one care for seniors in the Oregon Coast area. You’ll offer companionship, meals, light housekeeping, and errands, with personal care and mobility support as needed.

Paid training provided, with opportunities for bonuses. Roles include Day, Evening, NOC, and Overnight shifts across multiple locations along the Northern Oregon Coast, including Astoria and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• Caregiving, CNA, DSP, DSW, or senior care experience preferred but not required.
• Must be 18+ with valid license and insured transportation.
• Ability to work various shifts (Day, Evening, NOC, Overnight, Weekend).

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Assist with personal care and mobility.
• Support clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
• Perform nurse-delegated tasks as needed.

Requirements

You're a great fit if you:

OUR SERVICE AREA

Work with Clients in your own community!

We are hiring for multiple caregiver opportunities, including Day, Evening, Night (NOC), and Overnight shifts, as well as Weekend, Bilingual, CNA, and Lead Caregiver roles. Caregivers are based out of Astoria, OR and may be scheduled throughout the Northern Oregon Coast service area, which includes Astoria, Warrenton, Seaside, Knappa, Nehalem, Hammond, Cannon Beach, Gearhart, Clatskanie, Manzanita, Rockaway Beach, Svensen, Brownsmead, Oceanside, Wheeler, Garibaldi, and Bay City. Service areas vary based on client needs, and candidates should be comfortable traveling to client homes within this region.

Salary Description

$18 - $22 per hour
