Job summary

Headway is seeking a licensed professional counselor to join our network in Tampa. You’ll help clients access care by accepting insurance and growing your private practice with Headway’s platform.

You must hold a Master’s degree or higher, be fully licensed (LPC/LPCC), have a valid NPI number, and malpractice insurance. The role includes credentialing, scheduling, documentation, and secure client communications within Headway’s system.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and be fully licensed as a Professional Counselor (state-specific LPC/LPCC).
• Active NPI number and malpractice insurance are required.
• Experience or readiness to launch/expand a private practice with insurance credentialing is expected.
• Willingness to work within Headway’s platform to manage scheduling, documentation, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Help private practice providers accept insurance and credential with Headway.
• Assist with scheduling, documentation templates, and secure client messaging within Headway EHR.
• Support providers in growing their practice through Headway’s network and resources.
