Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist to join a private, high-volume cardiology and peripheral vascular practice in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on office-based consultations, hospital-based rounds, and collaboration with an established referral network.

Ideal candidates have non-invasive or interventional (non-interventional) training, nuclear cardiology certification preferred, and must be eligible for Florida licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required with Florida licensure eligibility.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
• Non-Invasive or Invasive/Non-Interventional Cardiology training preferred.
• Nuclear Cardiology boards/certification preferred.
• Florida licensure eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology consultation and rounding at a hospital.
• Office-based cardiology consultations for established patient population.
• Interpret cardiovascular diagnostic studies (echocardiography, nuclear tests, vascular studies).
• Collaborate with hospitalists and PCPs; operate as consultant rather than admitting physician.
• Limited after-hours telephone coverage; some outpatient procedural involvement.
