Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant in Asheville, NC to care for clients in their homes. You will follow a nurse-written plan of care and provide compassionate personal care to help clients stay safe and independent.

You will perform activities of daily living, household tasks, meal prep, and mobility assistance, with medication reminders as needed. A valid NC CNA license and at least one year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license registered with North Carolina in good standing.
• At least one year of work experience in caregiving or home care.
• Compliance with Bayada policy for home care.

Responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse to provide personal care.
• Provide household support, companionship, and homemaker services.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, including meals and medication reminders.

What you’ll do:

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. As a BAYADA CNA, you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders

What makes you a great candidate:

• Have at least one year of work experience.
• Active CNA license registered with North Carolina in good standing
• Compliant with Bayada policy needed for home care.
