BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care in Chapel Hill, NC. You will deliver personal care, homemaker support, and companionship to clients following a nurse’s care plan, helping them stay safe and independent at home.

• At least one year of work experience in a caregiving or similar setting.
• Completed a recognized CNA training course and current CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care developed by a registered nurse.
• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal planning as needed.
• Monitor health indicators and report changes to the nurse on duty.
• Maintain patient dignity and build trusting relationships.

We are currently recruiting for a CNA to reliably serve patients in Chapel Hill and surrounding areas in BAYADA's Assistive Care Division.

What you’ll do:

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you'll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. As a BAYADA CNA, you'll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
