Job summary

Bach to Rock Herndon is hiring a Music Instructor for part-time, on-site private lessons at the WorldGate Centre in Herndon, VA. You will teach guitar, piano/keys, drums, voice, bass, or other instruments using a structured curriculum and a 500+ song library.

Expect light administrative duties, scheduling, and ongoing student progress tracking. We value reliable, kid-friendly teachers who can engage 7-year-olds and 14-year-olds, and who are comfortable with after-school and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Teaching kids and teens with a genuine love for working with young learners.
• Able to teach multiple instruments and styles (rock, pop, jazz).
• Proven reliability, timely communication and note-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Teach 30-minute private lessons using structured curriculum and song library.
• Help students prepare for performances and recitals.
• Communicate with parents and collaborate with the team.
