Job summary

Partners Capital in Boston is seeking a Private Markets Product Specialist to bridge Private Markets Research, Research Operations, and Client CIO teams. The role focuses on translating complex investment concepts into clear internal messaging and supporting data-driven decision making across buyout, VC, and real assets.

The Specialist will drive cross-functional collaboration, maintain data quality, and contribute to scalable reporting used for client communications and board reporting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in private markets reporting, analytics, product strategy, portfolio management support, or related role.
• Experience with iLEVEL or similar private markets reporting platform; ability to calculate IRR, multiples, and other fund-level metrics.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with large datasets; ability to build/modify analytical tools and templates.

Responsibilities

• Act as central coordinator between Private Markets Research and Client CIO teams; support investment recommendations and address client queries.
• Provide first-line support for inbound inquiries; query and synthesize data; compile track records and performance reporting standards (IRR, TVPI).
• Collaborate with Private Markets Reporting to ensure timely, fit-for-purpose data and close data gaps between research and data functions.
• Translate investment considerations into clear, decision-ready materials for client consumption.
