Job summary

Neuberger Wealth seeks a Private Markets Strategist to integrate private markets exposure into multi-asset portfolios. You will act as a subject matter expert across private equity, private credit, and real assets, delivering rigorous analyses and client-ready deliverables.

You will collaborate with Investment Strategists, Wealth Advisors, and marketing to translate market views into actionable guidance, requiring strong analytical skills and precise communication. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, CAIA and/or other designations preferred.
• 7-10+ years industry experience in financial markets, investment research or wealth management.
• Strong understanding of both public and private markets, asset allocation and portfolio construction.
• Direct experience in portfolio implementation for high net worth and institutional clients.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Preqin, Pitchbook; AI tools preferred.
• Series 7 and 66 exams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Wealth Advisors and Relationship Managers to support fundraising efforts and broaden private markets exposure.
• Develop guidance for integrating private market strategies into client portfolios.
• Maintain liquidity budgeting and commitment pacing models, including cash flow forecasting.
• Serve as SME on buyouts, growth equity, secondaries, direct lending, real estate, and related strategies.
• Present to client groups and travel as needed.
• Create client-facing and internal content to support engagement and education.
