Job summary

Meketa Investment Group is seeking a Private Markets Operations Coordinator who will oversee the operational integrity of the firm's private markets operations, implementing new practices and coordinating projects to improve workflow.

You will manage daily fund administration for private and registered funds, coordinate with administrators, auditors, and custodians, and ensure timely reporting and compliance with SEC requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in fund operations, preferably within asset management or private equity.
• Strong knowledge of private investment funds and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with fund accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Private Markets Operations Manager on overseeing daily operations of private investment funds and registered investment funds, including trade settlement, cash management, and reconciliation.
• Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, and auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Monitor fund performance metrics and lead preparation efforts for periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support regulatory filings and ensure compliance with SEC.
• Coordinate onboarding new fund platforms and implementing operational workflows with all stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain documentation of fund operations and procedures.
• Collaborate on other PM Operations department tasks as needed.

Private Markets Operations Coordinator

Position Summary

The Private Markets Operations Coordinator will play a critical role in overseeing the operational integrity of the firm's private market operations team. Establishing new and optimizing existing practices, coordinating solutions and projects for better workflow management. This individual will also be involved with the daily oversight of Meketa's private fund and registered investment funds to ensure accurate fund administration, coordinate compliance and reporting requirements, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain operational excellence.

Position Requirements

Preferred Skills

• Experience with private equity co-investment structures.
• Knowledge of SEC filings and compliance processes.
• Familiarity with fund administration platforms and data management tools.
