Job summary

Pinnacle Group in the Chicago area is seeking an Associate or Vice President to join its lean investment team. The role centers on due diligence of new and existing investments, researching managers, co-investments and strategies, and building portfolio and cash-flow models.

You will support performance, allocation and risk reporting, contribute to asset allocation recommendations, and collaborate with senior professionals.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of work experience in private equity, co-investments or LP allocation.
• Bachelor's degree required; passion for investing and portfolio management.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work with the investment team to manage a large institutional portfolio with alt investments.
• Prepare portfolio accounting, including performance, asset allocation and risk reports.
• Conduct capital markets research and develop asset allocation recommendations.
• Research and due diligence on investment managers, co-investments and strategies.
• Develop and maintain financial models for portfolio analysis and cash flow.
• Monitor market trends, opportunities, risks and new investment products.
