Job summary

Neuberger's Private Markets group is seeking an IBOR/OMS Lead to architect and deliver the firm's investment book of record and order management across private markets, creating a real-time view of positions, transactions, and orders across multiple administrators.

The role leads the evaluation and implementation of the IBOR/OMS solution—vendor, build, or hybrid—working with portfolio management, operations, fund administration, and technology to support capital calls, distributions, and bespoke

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of investment technology experience with IBOR/OMS.
• Deep understanding of investment book of record concepts.
• Knowledge of transaction messaging standards (SWIFT, FIX).
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management with front-office partners.
• Ability to translate ambiguous needs into platform requirements.
• Hands-on experience with AI and AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of IBOR/OMS approaches with RFPs and vendor demos.
• Define target-state architecture for real-time IBOR across private markets.
• Define functional requirements for OMS, trade blotter, messaging, and confirmations.
• Design integrations with fund administrators, custodians, accounting, reporting.
• Translate complex workflows into platform requirements and procedures.
