Job summary

ERM’s Private Markets ESG & Impact Value Creation team seeks a Consulting Associate or Consulting Senior Associate to advise investment teams and embed ESG into portfolio strategy. You’ll operate at the intersection of strategy, finance, and sustainability, guiding portfolio companies toward measurable impact and programmatic value across global portfolios.

This role offers exposure to market analysis, growth strategy, and executive-facing storytelling, with opportunities to mentor colleagues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Sustainability, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Entry level to 2.5 years in top-tier strategy consulting focusing on strategy development, market analysis, and financial modeling.
• Technical skill set includes PowerPoint storytelling, Excel modeling (advanced is a plus), and ESG familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of ESG and impact strategies delivering value.
• Conduct market assessments to identify sustainability trends and opportunities.
• Build and analyze financial models to quantify ESG impact on revenue and profitability.
• Communicate ESG insights with investor and executive audiences.
