Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Private Markets Advisors to deliver strategic, operational, and capital-markets guidance to fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors across the private markets.

This is not a traditional employment role. Private Markets Advisors operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Private Markets Advisors:

Advise on fund formation, capital raising, transaction structuring, and market positioning

Support sponsors and investors on deal strategy, diligence oversight, and execution readiness

Mentor analysts and deal origination professionals, strengthening institutional standards

Access curated deal flow, advisory engagements, and transaction-based earning opportunities

Build a verified Private Markets Advisor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced operators, former investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a demonstrated record of executing private market transactions.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Private Markets Advisors may:

Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning

Support deal sponsors with transaction structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

Mentor analysts and origination professionals on modeling standards, diligence processes, and execution best practices

Provide portfolio-level advisory, operational insights, and value creation guidance

Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors, family offices, and co-investors

Advisors focus on high-level strategic guidance and relationship-driven deal activation. Day-to-day transactional modeling or execution work is not required unless explicitly approved.

Eligible Advisory Areas

Based on experience and approval, Private Markets Advisors may support:

Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

Deal structuring, investment committee preparation, and transaction strategy

Portfolio company operations and value creation initiatives

Mentorship and technical training for analysts and origination professionals

Investor relations strategy and capital network development

Approval is granted based on experience, transaction history, and demonstrated advisory capability.

Compensation & Deal Economics

Hourly advisory rates ranging from $200–$500, based on experience and engagement scope

Transaction-based incentives available for advisory contributions on closed deals

Payments issued upon completion of advisory milestones or successful transaction close

No cap on earning potential for consistent, high-impact advisory contributions
