Job summary

Learning Care in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Private Kindergarten Lead Teacher to inspire young learners, design engaging lessons, and partner with families to prepare children for elementary school and beyond.

You will lead classroom management, implement the curriculum, and mentor fellow teachers, while ensuring safety and adherence to state licensing guidelines in a supportive center environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or child development is required.
• Teacher Certification.
• The ability to meet all state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Care for the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation following the school readiness pathway and licensing guidelines.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and center success.

As a Private Kindergarten Lead Teacher, you’ll:
