Job summary

Qualicare KC Home Care is seeking Overnight Care Assistants for private in-home care in the Lee’s Summit/Blue Springs area. The role requires a reliable, compassionate caregiver to support a private adult client in her home, with a 24/7 care schedule and 7:00/7:30am to 10/10:30am two times a week, plus additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

Experience in life with Caregiving or professionally.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must hold a valid Driver's License.
Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

Be caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers.
Show up on TIME!
Assist with personal care and hygiene.
Meal preparation.
Light housekeeping.
Accompany clients on outings.
Shopping and errands.
Medication reminders/assistance.
Ambulation and transporting of clients.
Provide companionship to clients.
Follow care plan.
