Job summary

Sage Haus LLC is seeking a reliable Household Manager & Family Assistant in Los Angeles, CA for 15–20 hours per week. Flexible Tue–Thu schedule with 12:00–5:00 PM preferred. Compensation ranges $32–$37 per hour and start date is ASAP.

You will support meal preparation, household organization, errands, and light childcare in a private home. The role requires proactive, detail‑oriented, and calm professionalism.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Smoke-free environment.
• Comfortable with dogs.

Responsibilities

• Meal Support: Plan and prepare healthy dinners 4–5 nights per week; batch cook ahead; prepare school lunches and snacks; grocery shopping and kitchen restocking; kitchen clean-up.
• Household Organization & Maintenance: Create and maintain organization systems; daily resets and light tidying; prep before weekly housekeeping; seasonal clothing swaps; indoor plant care; change batteries in children’s toys; change AC filters; organize entryways and shared spaces; assist with packing/unpacking for travel; occasional donation drop-offs.
• Inventory & Errands: Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies; manage running supply lists; manage subscriptions and orders; monitor and reorder pet supplies; handle returns and dry cleaning; break down and recycle boxes.
• Family Support: Light childcare on select weekdays; occasional date-night support; prep backpacks, clothing, and snacks; kid-related errands; occasional school pickup/drop-off.
• Laundry & Linens: Wash, fold, and organize child laundry; assist with family laundry; rotate linens; change towels; ironing/steaming; keep laundry areas tidy.
• Deep Cleaning & Special Projects: Coordinate deep cleaning with housekeeper; assist with onboarding a new housekeeper; organize toys and gear.
• Pet Care: Monitor and reorder pet food, treats and medications.
• Vendor & Property Oversight: Be available to meet contractors or service providers at home as needed.
