Job summary

hcaoa-careers is seeking caring, responsible individuals to provide in-home care and support for clients in the community. You will help with daily activities, personal care, and companionship, while maintaining safety and independence at home.

The role offers flexible daytime, evening, and weekend shifts, with onboarding and training provided. A background screening is required to ensure client trust and safety in homes.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be caring, compassionate and patient.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Must pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide reminders for medications as directed.
• Assist clients with walking and general movement in the home.
• Support personal hygiene and daily care needs.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks.
• Complete light cleaning and tidying tasks.
• Offer companionship and emotional support through conversation.
• Help clients with everyday household routines.
