We are seeking a private investment funds associate to join the firm’s Finance, Regulatory & Investment Funds (Global) group in the New York office.

Experience in the following areas is desired:

• (1) Structuring and formation of private equity funds, venture capital funds or hedge funds, including drafting of fund documents
• (2) Negotiation with limited partners on behalf of fund sponsors
• (3) Review of subscription documents
• (4) Representation of private or institutional investors in their investments into private investment funds
• (5) Structuring general partner and management companies
• (6) Working knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940

Candidates should have solid academic credentials and 3 to 5 years of experience. Principals only.

Compensation range: $260,000 to $365,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
