Job summary

Aksia is seeking a Vice President-level investment professional to join its Private Equity team to help lead client-focused teams working with sophisticated institutional investors on investment strategy, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment selection.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects, helping them evaluate investment opportunities and develop programs to align with their investment objectives.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of investment experience with institutional investors or advisory firms.
• Demonstrated experience with private equity asset allocation and portfolio construction.
• Ability to lead client engagements and small teams under tight deadlines.
• Strong relationship management with boards, CIOs, and investment committees.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to translate market research into recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CFA designation or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-focused teams advising institutions on private equity strategy and asset allocation.
• Serve as day-to-day relationship lead for clients and prospects with senior stakeholders.
• Translate research and analytics into actionable client recommendations.
• Oversee engagements from scoping to delivery with timely, high-quality work.
• Support business development and deepen client relationships through proposals.
• Mentor junior professionals and contribute to private equity practices and thought leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across investments, data, legal and compliance.
