Private Equity Specialist – Mercor

Mercor is recruiting U.S./UK/Canada/Europe/Singapore/Dubai/Australia-based Investment Banking or Private Equity Experts for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab.

Base Pay Range

$150.00/hr – $150.00/hr

Fit

• At least 2 years of experience working at top firms in investment banking or private equity with deal experience (academic experience does not count, must be on desk).

Role Details

• The work is fully asynchronous and can be done around your schedule.
• You will build financial models from scratch that would be reflective of what you did on desk.
• You must commit at least 20 hours per week for this role.
• This contract is until the end of February, with the possibility of extension.
• Successful contributions increase the odds that you are selected on future projects with Mercor.

Vetting Process

• ~10 minute behavioral interview about previous deals you’ve worked on.
• Technical assessment (< 30 minutes) evaluating financial expertise.

Pay and Legal Status

• This role will pay $150/hour.
• You will be paid at the end of each week via Stripe Connect based on the number of hours you log.
• You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor.
• Please note that we cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.

Referral Bonus

• $1,000 referral bonus for anyone you refer between December 11th and December 14th that passes the work trial and works at least 10 hours on the project.
• After that, the referral bonus will go back to $500.
