Position: Private Equity Financial Modeling Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $115–$200/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design institutional-grade financial modeling tasks based on real-world investment banking and private equity scenarios.
• Develop comprehensive prompts and execution plans that require AI systems to build models from scratch.
• Create gold-standard reference models and objective evaluation rubrics for AI output assessment.
• Build and review advanced transaction models including three-statement models, DCFs (with WACC and sensitivities), LBOs, M&A, and growth equity frameworks.
• Construct modeling tasks covering recapitalizations, carve-outs, and other complex deal structures.
• Perform and document diligence analyses including unit economics, cohort analysis, and margin drivers.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers, clearly documenting assumptions and modeling logic.
