Job summary

UTIMCO is seeking an Associate to advance its private investment initiatives, focusing on fund investments and direct opportunities. You will work under the Managing Director of Private Equity and collaborate with the Senior Managing Director of Private Equity Investments to monitor managers, perform due diligence, and support investment decisions.

Ideal candidates bring 5–8+ years of direct investment experience, a finance or accounting degree, and strong Excel/Bloomberg skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
• 5–8+ years of direct investment experience in private equity or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg; strong financial modeling skills."
• MBA and CFA preferred for senior consideration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fund and manager performance and risk within the private equity program.
• Lead comprehensive due diligence for fund investments, including company analysis and legal review.
• Source and assess new investment opportunities; maintain manager database and relationships.
• Prepare reports and presentations for Investment Committee and Board; mentor junior staff.
