Job summary

Standish Management is offering a summer internship in Seattle to gain exposure to private equity fund administration and partnership accounting. Interns provide financial and administrative support to Associates and Fund Controllers, assisting with schedules, data entry, filing, and special projects relevant to fund reporting.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of basic accounting, strong Excel/Office skills, and the ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic Accounting and Finance principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of financial and client information into recordkeeping system.
• Maintain and update filing systems.
• Support audit and tax teams as needed.
• Assist with systems conversions and other special projects.
• Contribute to data entry and analysis of client documents for reporting.
