Job summary

Mission Staffing supports a Leading Private Equity Fund in NYC seeking a Finance Associate. The role is a hands-on position acting as a 'mini-CFO' to work with deal teams on transactions, valuations, deal modeling, capital formations, and broader finance functions.

You will engage in valuation support, model review, capital call activity, investor communications, and fund-level cash tracking, contributing to process improvements and launches.

Responsibilities

• Support the valuation process for portfolio companies
• Prepare and review valuation models and support schedules
• Play an active role in deal closing processes for new investments and add-on acquisitions
• Support the preparation and review of capital call and distribution notices, waterfall calculations, and related investor allocations across the fund complex.
• Assist in tracking fund-level cash activity, including capital call funding, credit facility draws/paydowns, and distribution mechanics.
• Contribute to investor reporting deliverables and responses to investor due diligence questionnaires.
• Assist with special projects, including new fund launches and process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
