About the Firm

We are currently working with a San Francisco–based private equity firm that is seeking to add a Due Diligence Associate to its investment team. The firm is known for its operationally focused investment model and manages capital across multiple strategies, with a strong track record of successful investments across a number of core industries.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the evaluation of new investments across all industry verticals by managing key workstreams.
  2. Lead key aspects of financial, legal, tax, and commercial due diligence on prospective investments.
  3. Partner with investment teams and operating professionals to prepare portfolio companies for exit.
  4. Assist in portfolio performance monitoring and ongoing value creation initiatives post-close.
  5. Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge-sharing across deal teams.

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction services, or deal advisory at a Big 4 or top-tier accounting or consulting firm.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting private equity clients on M&A transactions.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and project management capabilities.
  • Outstanding academic credentials from a top undergraduate institution.
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
