Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher with 3–8 years in deal origination, direct sourcing or business development in private equity or expert networks.
Proven ability to connect authentically with small- and mid-sized business owners across the US.
Experience in sourcing-focused environments—private equity platforms or expert networks—rather than sales roles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative and approachable.

Responsibilities

Source and originate new investment opportunities by connecting directly with small- and mid-sized business owners across industries.
Own, develop, and execute creative sourcing and marketing strategies using data to identify promising opportunities.
Build and maintain a network of business owners, expert networks, and relevant intermediaries for deal surface.
Develop rapport and credibility with prospective sellers, fostering trust and open communication throughout sourcing.
Drive proprietary outreach — email campaigns, LinkedIn networking, and cold calling — to source deals directly.
Share market insights with the internal team and support the pipeline of potential acquisitions.
