Job summary

LP Analyst in Dallas is seeking a Private Equity Client Relationship Manager to serve as the primary relationship owner for institutional investors. This is a strategic, client-facing role focused on delivering accurate reporting and proactive communication.

This position sits at the intersection of finance, analytics, and relationship leadership, offering exposure to leading LPs and GPs and the opportunity to develop executive communication and strategic relationship management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in investment management, operations/technology, investor relations, or related roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience communicating directly with clients or senior financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned institutional clients.
• Partner with clients to uncover opportunities to expand services and deepen engagement.
• Translate complex financial and portfolio data into clear, strategic insights.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape product development and strategic initiatives.
• Lead initiatives to improve workflows, service delivery, and scalability.
• Identify discrepancies, risks, or process gaps and drive resolution.
• Coordinate with analytics, reporting, and operations teams to ensure timely deliverables.
• Escalate issues while maintaining client confidence and transparency.
• Manage ongoing client communication across calls, meetings, and written updates.
• Handle multiple client priorities with strong attention to detail.
• Support technical reporting enhancements and client-specific development.
• Mentor junior talent as you grow in the role.
